Right now I'm trying to get my AT&T data plan to work on the current note. The AT&T rep I talked with said there is sometimes problems getting unlocked phones to recieve data on their network.

I've been using an unlocked Note from Mobile City for the past 6 weeks with almost no problems. I had to make a few small adjustments to the settings as advised on the many forums, and I'm getting 4,000 - 6,000 kbps downloads and the same for uploads, and occasionally faster (SF Bay Area). I don't use MMS, but I've had no problem with messaging and e-mail (both Exchange and GMail)

I'd love to know what settings you used, or where you set it up on the phone.

I used the APN found on XDA Developers. The one I'm using is:

    Settings, Mobile Networks, APN
    Wap.Cingular
    Name - AT&T
    APN - wap.cingular
    Proxy - (not set)
    Port - (not set)
    Username - WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
    Password - (not set)
    Server (not set)
    MMSC - http://mmsc.cingular.com
    MMS Proxy - wireless.cingular.com
    MMS Port - 80
    MCC - 310
    MNC - 410
    Authentication Type - (Not Set)
APN Type - internet + mms

Thanks, that worked, although the data is slow for now. I sometimes forget about xda developers.
