Long Awaited Apple Tablet Computer "iPad" Release Due in June!
Mac users worldwide have been patiently waiting for the newest incarnation of Mac OS X version 10.4 "Tiger". What has been kept tight-lipped is the most exceptional new feature to be included in OS X Tiger, ink and handwriting functionality!
Of course along with the release of the new OS will be the most exciting piece of hardware addition to the Apple product line. Dubbed "iPad", the new tablet computer is due for official release some time in June '05.
A private sneak preview of the new device was generously arranged for journalists and press late Thursday night at the new Apple Store in Las Vegas. We were on site ready to get some photos, however close up photography was strictly forbidden.
An anxious crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the new "iPad" tablet computer from Apple.
Following is the closest photo we could get without having our camera's SD card confiscated. We wanted to get a close-up terribly bad, but rules are rules.
Press and journalists were treated to a quick "close up and personal" with the new iPad.
We were lucky enough to obtain this PR image that for the most part reveals the iPad's exterior that is made up of a similar polycarbonate casing like its iBook and iPod cousins.
