Internet Explorer 7 Public Beta Available for Download

So rumor has it that Vista's release may be pushed back yet again. Well here is some good news - a fairly polished version of the new Internet Explorer 7 is available for anyone to download. Today we tested this version on the Acer C200 Tablet PC and Fujitsu P1500D tablet computer. Installation was a breeze and this latest version of IE 7 is a smooth operator. Get your copy here.



Toshiba M400 Tablet PC Launch Date

The new Toshiba Port g M400 convertible Tablet PC featuring Intel's hot new "Core Duo" CPU is expected to be announced on February 7th. Intel Pro Wireless Software Update

Intel has new software and drivers available for three Pro Wireless card models. Version 10.1.0.3 for the 2200BG, 2915ABG and 3945ABG card models was released on January 19, 2006. Most new Tablet PC and notebook models come preconfigured (by the OEM) with drivers as old as October 2004! The new software features a much richer GUI and makes connecting to various hot spots a breeze. Most importantly, if you're tired of your connection dropping in and out or decreasing in speed, this new update could make your day!

We tested this new version on Tablet PCs with the 2200BG and 2915ABG Intel Pro Wireless cards. The results were flawless, "drop free" connections on both devices. You can get your copy of the software direct from Intel here.
