faint gray lines on LE1600 VA Screen?

Hi all,

I recently got an LE1600 VA off of eBay and have noticed faint gray lines that run diagonally across the screen (about 1 mm apart). They are only noticeable against a white background and they are not consistent (solid). I purchased it for the sole purpose of taking notes, so I find this issue somewhat annoying.

Has anyone else had/seen these diagonal gray lines on their motion screens?

Any way to repair it without getting the screen replaced? The replacement screen will run me 1000 from Canada.. Something I'd prefer to avoid.

I just a got a LE1600 today and it has these lines also. ebay source too.. I also have a standard display LE1600 and it does not have these lines. ebay source too.
