Re: M700 - Linux (Ubuntu Flavour)
I have Xubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04. running on x61t. It is the Alpha-6 release. Works without any problems. Also I can recommend the XFCE Desktop for tablet users. Faster, very eye andy, a nice dock (IconBox), composition effects without compiz fusion and it rotates easily using xrandr.

Re: M700 - Linux (Ubuntu Flavour)
Xubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 is working with M700, though I did end up rolling my own wacom-tools package from the recently released wacomlinux sources because they incorportated this http://www.nabble.com/Multi-touch-sc...d15392037.html work. I also didn't get the touch working, yet, only active wacom digitizer.

Re: M700 - Linux (Ubuntu Flavour)
Righto--
So I just installed 8.10 (dual booting w vista), and I'm loving it. Trouble is, I'm having a ***** of a time getting some of the hardware to work.
Harrowed in particular, I know you were running 7.x, but how did you get the fn buttons to work? I can't even get sound to work properly.
FN buttons, sound, pen/touch--these're what I'm having trouble with
I'm searching through Ubuntu help, but figured someone here might already have solved my problems.
Any help?
