M700 - Linux (Ubuntu Flavour)

I have Xubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04. running on x61t. It is the Alpha-6 release. Works without any problems. Also I can recommend the XFCE Desktop for tablet users. Faster, very eye andy, a nice dock (IconBox), composition effects without compiz fusion and it rotates easily using xrandr.

Xubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 is working with M700, though I did end up rolling my own wacom-tools package from the recently released wacomlinux sources because they incorportated this http://www.nabble.com/Multi-touch-sc...d15392037.html work. I also didn't get the touch working, yet, only active wacom digitizer.

Confirmed to be working, Sound, Graphics (Got Compiz working! YEY!) Beleive it or not.. Fingerprint Reader, SD Card reader (unconfirmed), Wifi, Ethernet, Stylus.. What else? Function Keys.. Trying to find some accelerometer mods but give me time

Righto--

So I just installed 8.10 (dual booting w vista), and I'm loving it. Trouble is, I'm having a ***** of a time getting some of the hardware to work.

Harrowed in particular, I know you were running 7.x, but how did you get the fn buttons to work? I can't even get sound to work properly.

FN buttons, sound, pen/touch--these're what I'm having trouble with I'm searching through Ubuntu help, but figured someone here might already have solved my problems.

Any help?
