Vista 64bit Recovery DVD's
Hi All,
First time list, long time reader (and eager order of a x61 tablet tbd next week!), I have a question regarding getting 64bit vista on to the laptop, when the x61t was announced they said it would have options for installing 64bit (which I need to get the most from 4gb of ram and photoshop).
Now there went any options at the time of ordering, so I resound myself to ordering an OEM copy and installing that, but whilst looking though the lenovo site, I came across this link...
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/si...MIGR-68287#b64
It mentions options for ordering the 64bit recovery cd, now this could be just generic info for other lenovo laptops, but is there any way of 'recovering' from 32 to 64bit without having to order a new licence?
Any thoughts?
Cheers
James
