Cleartype in 'secondary landscape'?
Secondary landscape is the one where you don't need to manually rotate the entire computer after you rotate the screen to change to tablet mode.
The problem is that the screen is physically upside-down in secondary landscape, so Cleartype needs to be switched from RGB to BGR to work correctly. (I'm using vista, but the XP version of the 'Cleartype Tuning' control panel lets you choose RGB vs BGR.) If all you do is rotate the screen and change the orientation to 'secondary landscape' with the button, everything looks blurry!
Is there any way to have the machine automatically switch from Cleartype RGB to BGR when you enter Secondary Landscape mode? Or, is it actually supposed to do this automatically, and that functionality is just lost in Vista, or buggy on my machine (x60t) specifically?
Any help or info would be appreciated!

Re: Cleartype in 'secondary landscape'?
I have a Toshiba R400 and the same thing happens to me, rotating the screen either 90 degrees, or the full 180 results in a slight loss of clarity, although there is a bigger loss in clarity in going to the 180. I'm interested in learning more about this too, but seeing as how we have two different machines(I'm running vista as well) I'm thinking this is a software, or hardware limitation and not malfunction.

Re: Cleartype in 'secondary landscape'?
I'm experiencing exactly the same problem. My HP 2730p gets blurry every time when rotates back and to the sencondary landscape. I have to manually tune up every time and it's just annoying.
The ClearType Tuning CPL is even not vista-savvy although works. Is there any way to automate?

Re: Cleartype in 'secondary landscape'?
After some googling, I found this: ClearType Rotate. It memorize your ClearType Setting and automatically adjust with rotation.
