Two thinkpad tablet 2's @ 40% off? If my estimates are right, say $700 times 2 times 0.6, and you get $840. So $420 per tablet, before tax. Not bad, though what would I do with two of those?

LOL...this reminds me of a posting a few years back on what sorts of things people could use their TabletPC's for....

1. a matching set of serving trays that can play games
2. networked together they can play virtual Battleship
3. you could carry one in each hand and lower the risk of developing muscles only in one arm

That's a great launch deal, I hope they do the same in Europe (still no confirmation of a release date in Ireland). I would imagine a lot of these appearing on ebay with that offer in place!

When you click through it says 40% off the first one when you buy two, so an effective 20% off. Still not too bad, $560 for a $700 tablet. Beats Samsung's launch discount at Staples, $50 off $650.
