I have not seen any case in the accessories other than that thick sleeve. Is there any for TPT2?Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 - 367927U

Re: Lenovo Windows 8 ThinkPad Tablet 2 - Tablet + dockable Keyboard Combo
None yet, but it's likely that third party manufacturers will start making cases when the device is released...

Re: Lenovo Windows 8 ThinkPad Tablet 2 - Tablet + dockable Keyboard Combo
tbt2 looks very interesting. But is the cpu powerful enough to run win 8? I am not thinking about the 3d gaming, just ms word, excel, pdf reading, web browsing.

Don't think the CPU will have any problems - I'd be more concerned about the 2GB of RAM and the slow eMMC storage...

believe it or not, my 2 yrs old Dell at work only has 2 GB RAM, so it is not a big concern for me.

In that case, you might be quite happy with the TPT2 in terms of performance

I will probably go for sony duo 11 or old win7 samsung slate with i core processor. The ATOM cpu isn't able to play the 3D pinball smoothly.

Why would you need to "play" with a device that is supposed to do something else ? If you want to kill time, just play with your phone.

Re: Lenovo Windows 8 ThinkPad Tablet 2 - Tablet + dockable Keyboard Combo
They're entirely different activities. One is gpu based, and one is largely cpu based, afaik. People have already said that Win8 is running very very smoothly on these new Atom processors with 2 gb ram. I don't see why you're comparing running a game with running Windows or Office. It's already well known that the graphics on these atom chips is pretty cr*p. That's no big surprise.
Of course, there' s no reason not to get the Duo 11. It's clearly a far more powerful tablet. Your reasoning re: the Atom didn't make sense to me though.Last edited by Steve B; 11-07-2012 at 04:27 PM.
