Re: Ubuntu 12.04 on X220t
+1! Didn't make out so well with Mint, but I've been running Ubuntu 12.04 dual boot with W7 pro for a week or so now, and I'm really liking it. Find myself booting into windows less and less often. Just installed the Cinnamon desktop and like it even better. Unity and the Hub are okay, but Cinnamon is sweet.
Only thing I'm not real happy with is the lack of handwriting recognition apps. CellWriter works, but its sort of a kludge compared to windows. Installed MyScript Stylus, but couldn't get it to run. I'm pretty much a Linux doofus, so I'll keep trying.

Re: Ubuntu 12.04 on X220t
Ravenwing, Happy to come across another who has found the joy of Cinnamon and Precise on x220t. Did you settle the screen rotation thing? I am still having issues...I appear to have found the key mapping, but not sure what command to map it to--also, there is the issue with the stylus/mouse moving in the wrong relative direction once screen is rotated...I fixed this once on a prev install, but...grr, can't find thread.
