Default Outlet refurb X220T sale is decent.

Refurbed X220 I3 w/IPS panel for $732. http://outlet.lenovo.com/laptops/429r9fr763.html I'm not even looking for a thinkpad and I'm tempted, particularly with the changes to the X230T keyboard.

There were quite a few in the $700 - $800 range with IPS displays. They didn't last long.

Well, it was to expect. For $500 you usually just get a cheap-o consumer 15" laptop, not something well built, not anything small and light and of course not a tablet PC. Here you got all that for $250 more.

If they could keep that as a regular price...
Yes, yes, I know, pipe dreams...

Anybody interested in a great deal like this should keep a close eye on the Outlet site. I saw an I5-2520M IPS tablet scratch-n-dent for less than $750 a couple of days ago. But, it was gone in less than 15 minutes. I'm not even currently in the market and I was really tempted to grab that unit. I suspect that Lenovo will keep feeding these units into the outlet until it clears out its sandybridge inventory. It's luck of the draw.
