Default How Much Bigger is a Lenovo X200T with an 8 Cell Battery?

Just about to buy a replacement 8 cell battery for the X200T which I bought with a 4 cell battery. At the moment I'm getting 1.5 Hours from the battery when fully charged. If I upgrade to the 8 cell battery which I think is the biggest available for this model (perhaps someone can confirm this?) how long can I hope to get from the battery and also how much bigger will it make the machine? (been thinking about ordering a Zeroshock III laptop sleeve as recommended to me in one of my other threads).
    cheers for any help

I think I'm correct in saying that this is the biggest battery for the X200T but that it protudes outwards from the laptop base making it bigger but by how much?
If anyone knows that would be great.
    Cheers

About an inch. Maybe a little more.

Agreed. It sticks out about 1-1.25" on the back. I know some dislike it, but I actually use it as it was intended all the time-- as a grip to hold when in tablet mode, as a nice to grip to move the laptop around while its open, etc, that sort of stuff.

I get 6-8 hours easy on my x200t with the 8cell on Power Saver. Perhaps 4-6 in Balanced, and 3-4 in High Performance. It's a great investment.

I like the ergonomics and weight of the 4 cell, and have one that I use when I'm doing specific things like working in the field with the tablet in hand for some 1-2 hour duration, but in general I use the 8 cell. I just love that I basically don't need to think about plugging it in all day. That's cool.

cheers both, that's a great help - going to order an 8 cell now and then measure when attached before ordering a case.

One more question - I have my SSD fitted and it's quick with 3GB RAM but would I notice much difference if I maxed out to 8GB RAM?

    cheers

I only notice a difference re: my new 8gb of ram if I'm doing art work and I want a bigger canvas, etc. That sort of stuff, where the limits of memory matter. I don't actually notice my computer running faster in a normal sense though. That's all SSD stuff.
