Three year depot warranty. Webcam, bluetooth, fingerprint. Pretty much everything I wanted. I'm not some artist so the edge fiasco isn't critical to me. I will use it in non-tablet mode 90% of the time, so it's no biggie.

It's going to be a solid machine for my purposes.

For those who wish to reproduce my test (bottom of the page), here are two templates (the difference is in the slope of the blue lines):

This way we’ll have a unique basis to test different drivers or settings, and be able to observe the difference between the results they produce.

The images are 1366x768 pixels. Please proceed as follows:

- Deactivate the touch function (otherwise the ruler might produce unexpected effects, depending on the paint software you use).
- Display the image full screen, the loudspeaker icon matching the position of your speakers.
- Align a ruler on every blue line and draw a thin red one (or any color except blue). You can start your lines from the bevel or from the grey frame, and end them anywhere you like.
- When you are finished, add an arrow somewhere to indicate the direction in which you have drawn your lines (bottom to top or top to bottom).

Audios, welcome ... i feel silly following you around but, could you check what i wrote in the offical forum? I really want your expriance on using top edge of ribbon ui\scrollbar\try icons

if its good... i would be greatful if you could upload a video of it (even from your phone) my useage for the x220t is a math whitebord + visual studio, not being able to use the top edge of the ribon ui (pinned buttons i belived it is called) means i have to use the ribon ui at full scale.. which is a huge burden as it takes so much space out of the screen

Unfortunately my old cell phone is not able to film, and I don't even own a webcam or a camcorder, just a camera, which in this case is useless...

There is a simple way to test what I was talking about, I mean a clean install of Windows 7 in order to get rid of everything from Lenovo and Wacom: If you know someone who owns a X220t you can ask him to make a backup of his system on an external hard drive (with Acronis True Image for example, or Windows itself), and then proceed to the clean install in question. He will be able to get his system back exactly as it was before the backup. But that's a lot of work !

Or just wait for a fix from Lenovo, if however it comes to life one day!

added: Writing here to save you post on top. Thank you for the template. I'll do it without recalibration. The recalibration makes the things worse.
Probably can try it in Linux also.

No, there is no way! What I meant is that with the test I have made we’ll be able to compare the results on different machines: one with the Lenovo driver installed, another one with the Wacom driver, and a third one with the native Windows 7 pen driver (like mine). And probably a machine on which both Lenovo and Wacom drivers are installed.

Actually there is something you can try : deactivate (not uninstall) the Lenovo/Wacom multitouch driver, reboot, recalibrate the screen (Tablet PC parameters), and see if your experience with the stylus is somewhat better.

Here is a new type of test: clicking with a round brush in the center of a small circle, without taking the pointer into account (you have to be very concentrated). Better to hide the pointer, if possible.
