what is best MS Office version for x201t with win 7?
I have been using MS Office 2003. Will I be better able to use my stylus with a later version?

Can't remember, does 2003 have the inking functionality?
That's basically the only 'stylus friendly' feature 2007/2010 Office has, apart from OneNote of course!

it's seems to me that the 2010 version of MS Office is the first to come in 32 and 64 bits version.
So maybe it's better if you have all (CPU, Windows 7, Office) in 64 bits

Re: what is best MS Office version for x201t with win 7?
If you have Windows 7 64 bit, MS Office 2010 (32bit and 64bit) now include the printer drivers to incorporate PDFs or other types of files directly into OneNote. In previous versions, a sort of hack needed to be installed to get this functionnality. OneNote 2010 also lets you "rotate" images and documents (oddly enough this function didn't exist in OneNote 2007).
As far as MS Office 32bit vs 64bit is concerned, I read a few articles when I was trying to decide and most seemed to agree that there were no advantages to the 64bit version for the vast majority of people that don't deal with gigantic amounts of data in excel. You might want to read up a bit on the differences between 32bit and 64bit versions as that is only what I remember.
I can't comment on MS Office 2003 as I am not very familiar with that version and have never used it on a tablet.
Hope this helps a little in your decision.x201t - Multitouch, i7-620lm, 4GB RAM, 320GB HD, 8 cell battery

if you have 64 bit operating system, win 2010-64 is more efficient, and is not run in the 'emulate' 32 bit mode; less taxing and more efficient on appropriate processor... otherwise, not much different.

Yes, but the difference is negligible and many third-party (and Microsoft!) plug-ins are 32-bit only. Thus, for 95%+ of people 32-bit Office is the best choice (or at least 32-bit Outlook).

adam-
in my experience, the problem with the plugins is not simply for office, but for the OS. i have both 32 and 64 bit but the plugins don't work as i'm running the 64 bit OS... such as scalix connector...
