? What brand is yours ?
X61T: 1.6Ghz, 2GB RAM, SXGA+, 200GB 7200RPM HDD, Vista Ultimate, + Other bonuses including: bezel seperation + bezel pushing down unevenly on the screen causing pressure marks, screen that won't rotate open fully, misaligned jog wheel, half working " key, a battery that moves in and out 5mm, constant fan noise with buzzing, loose crackling headphone jack , and the icing on the cake: shoddy sticker placement. All for just $2200! Thanks Lenovo! []FIXED[]

My 160GB 5400 RPM is a Hitachi, for what it's worth. I believe they mostly use Hitachi drives.

Re: If you have a 120GB 5400rpm HD from Lenovo what brans is this
why not just go for the 200gb 7k200 now? Its was an option the last time I checked on the Lenovo website. Its what I've got. Its very quiet. Well actually, what I mean is I can't hear it above the fan noise and buzzing on mine.

Wait, what do you mean you are about to place an order? Have you not read through the posts here? Do you enjoy pain or something?

Re: If you have a 120GB 5400rpm HD from Lenovo what brans is this
Good for you yggdrasil.
But augenblick... if Lenovo let a machine like mine out of its factory, there is a chance yours might be similar. Or you might get a crumbling LCD surround. Or you might have no problems at all. But why take the chance? Wait... I see your thread: Known X61 tablet harware problems
So you are aware of the problems, but you still want to order...
I have nothing more to say.X61T: 1.6Ghz, 2GB RAM, SXGA+, 200GB 7200RPM HDD, Vista Ultimate, + Other bonuses including: bezel seperation + bezel pushing down unevenly on the screen causing pressure marks, screen that won't rotate open fully, misaligned jog wheel, half working " key, a battery that moves in and out 5mm, constant fan noise with buzzing, loose crackling headphone jack , and the icing on the cake: shoddy sticker placement. Re: If you have a 120GB 5400rpm HD from Lenovo what brans is this
My 120GB 5400rpm drive is also Hitachi.
I'd also like to point out that like ygg, I'm quite satisfied with my x61t. I had a few doubts at first due to lots of crashing from the turbo memory, but once I fixed that it's been all good. I'm just now seeing the bezel begin to come off, but as long as Lenovo will fix it for me for free it's not that big of a deal.
My only regret is getting the multitouch instead of the SXGA screen
