'Internal wireless device is set to "Radio off"...
...in BIOS setup or powered off by the hardware switch.'
I just got my x61t back from the repair shop, and that is the error message that I get when trying to turn my wireless adapter on. However, when I looked in the BIOS, it tells me that it is on.
Where is this "hardware switch"? Or what is going on here?HP TC 1100 [not dead yet]

You are the first to ever pick that up. No prize, but congrats.

Re: 'Internal wireless device is set to "Radio off"...
Thanks that's a great help, but maybe not clear enough. To those who did not find it, look at the front narrow dimention of the computer, the one who is facing you, closer to you than the "space" bar. find the latch where the display is locked when you close the computer. Now lift the computer 20 cm up, and just one cm beneath the latch you will find a small lock button, it is probably left if you had this problem - move it to the right and you solved it (on its left marked a small icon of a display, on its right the mark includes an icon of a broadcasting display). Be happy

Re: 'Internal wireless device is set to "Radio off"...
I really don't like the design of this switch. I've never bumped it with the T61p, but I have inadvertantly turned the wireless off at least three times in the last two weeks on the X61t.
