Mine says "The update does not apply to your system" when I run it.
Maybe it's because I have SP1 installed. My file versions are newer than the one that come in this update.

That is the same thing that a few reviewers have said, it seems that SP1 is coming in drips and drabs

This update completely killed my machine. I am running a gateway C140-X and this update made me unable to boot my computer, even in safe mode. Just a warning.

It could just be me, but i feel that the wireless internet performance has drastically improved.
Battery life has always been adequate for me, lasting me 5-6+ hours in "reading mode," so I wouldn't be disappointed even if it did not get improved (I'm saying this because I'm skeptical of these "patches" that MS keeps on releasing).

Installed fine here, things seem a bit faster but no actual measurements to deliver.

"The update does not apply to your system."

Guess it's because I have SP1 beta:/ Anyone knows if this patch is included there?

From what I can tell the patch seems to include some of the fixes they have released in the beta SP1. I guess "the update does not apply to your system" is the same as "your system already has the latest update".

It's not specifically listed in the SP1 update pack that I installed.
