Pretty underwhelming still no X34/54 card slot, only thing they added was the 1.8 LV processor. Pretty weak

I thought the same about the card slot. But another addition is 160gb and 200gb 7200rpm hard drives as well as 64 but OS

Interesting as twice they refer to the screen options as "a 12.1-inch XGA TFT or a 12.1-inch Touchscreen XGA TFT with 1024 x 768 resolution". I'm assuming the first is meant to be SXGA+...

That's the first thing I noticed too. So far no mention of SXGA. Though on another forum someone mentioned possiblitiy of a SXGA touch option, was hoping to see that. Otherwise nothing all that impressive or to make me regret my purchase....except for that whole bezel issue.

The first is only XGA. They offer the same screen with and without the passive digitizer option. The SXGA+ option is no longer available.

When do these specs take effect? And by the way, did Lenovo increase their shipping speed by any chance? haha...

Cutting off on the SXGA+ option all together seems quite strange. The x60 still has it as an option so I don't see what the problem could be. Not to mention that there is quite some high demand for the SXGA+ screen.

    Interesting nonetheless...

Why, sometime this month; perhaps tomorrow, perhaps a few days from now, next week, toward the end of the month, or by the beginning of next month.

In any case, since the press release was brought out on Sept. 4th, it should be available very soon (or perhaps now).
