Re: Inside the Pen ...
Thanks, thadwald for this information. My pen would stop working and at first I thought that it was the battery, but it continued to stop working sporadically even with a new battery. Remembered this post and took the pen end off and used a pencil eraser to clean the contact and compessed air to blow tthe residue off and the pen has worked just like new.

Re: Inside the Pen ...
I have killed my second pen. It stopped working this weekend. I'm going to try this approach and I'll let you know how it goes.
Edit: Wow. Pen works much better. I'll have to get some conductive grease. Thanks all.Last edited by Bronsky; 07-17-2012 at 10:34 PM.

Re: Inside the Pen ...
I may take a look at my pen as well. I have two HTC Flyer pens and one keeps dying, but it appears to be the battery. I switch the batteries and the one in the silver pen is always dead, but the one in the black pen works for way longer. Dont know why this is.

Re: Inside the Pen ...
Get some electrical tape for the HTC and put it over the buttons before you remove the barrel so they don't fall out. They are a PITA to get back in.
