TC4400 and its different displays
Just out of curiosity I tried to find out what kind of screen my TCs have, but with limited success.
From what I know HP offered 3 different display options:
- standard screen
- wide viewing angle
- enhanced outdoor viewable screen
The standard screen is easy to spot. It's seemingly TN and the viewing angles are a joke for a tablet.
But how can I tell whether I have just the wide viewing angle version or the outdoor version?
It's pretty usable outdoors, but from all I've seen it's way off the x201t superbright outdoor option, which could either mean HP just had a worse outdoor option or I don't have it.
Their website's also of no help as my model number's are nowhere to be found in any lists that also name the display options. Their spare parts listing also doesn't help.
So is there any way to easily deduce whether I have the outdoor version or not?
Does anybody know what exactly was different between their wide viewing angle and their outdoor screens?
Were there different displays or backlights or maybe just a different glass with some more AR coating or a different base glass?Fujitsu T4210/15 - retired, reinforced housing, crazy undervolting, now the wife's toy and basically inaudible with a T2300E
