tx2500/2000/1000 Backlight Replacement Tutorial?
Well my tx2500 tablet LCD died a short while ago and I replaced the inverter, the LCD lit up for a few days at a very dim setting before it blacked out again, I ordered a replacement backlight for it (didn't check the old one, the site had premade for tx2000).
Anyways, I downloaded the HP service manual for the tx2500, but after opening up my LCD, realized the manual was trash as it did not follow anything inside the tx2500, just a generic notebook setup. I began to start taking it apart myself but I gave up after ripping up a lot of highly adhesive tape originally in the LCD panel only to find more tape and feared I would not be able to put it back in one piece.
Does anyone have a link or pictures to a successful tx2500/2000/1000 backlight replacement tutorial?
Thanks!

Are you reasonably savvy with electronics? It might be worth using a bunch of SMD LEDs and leaching off the backlight's source via a regulator.
