Re: tx2500z shipping delays?
Mine shipped out today (which was the date that was on my order). I am kind of worried since my shipment status says "Shipment exception". That means that it has a delay out of their control. Does anyone else have this status?

Everyone who hasn't gotten theirs on time needs to complain. Otherwise they won't see the impact this has had on us. Don't be our voices, be your own.

What do they mean by package received after FedEx cutoff??? It was only 11 in the morning!!! Does that mean it's not going anywhere until Monday? Aww man!!!

Re: tx2500z shipping delays?
AHAHAHA after the delays, no $50 coupon, and today being bounced around to different phone numbers (not even trasnferred), i'm told that i can complete a satisfaction survey at the end of the conversation. You can bet I'll be taking them up on that offer!

Re: tx2500z shipping delays?
LOL! Dont worry about the cutoff guys. It's a regular occurance. All of my past HP shipments have had the same package received after cutoff entry. Also, note that the shipment was made at 11:41AM(27th) in Shanghai which would still be 11:41PM(26th) on the east coast. So, our package is most likely on the way to Alaska by now.

Blonde moment. Wouldn't the cold affect the computers in Alaska? o_o...
I know cold makes electricity travel faster but would that potentially damage the screens or something?
Flaming in 3... 2... 1... >_<;

Re: tx2500z shipping delays?
Nah, laptops are just fine in the cold if they're not on. I used to walk to school with mine every day.. not in Alaska mind you but it was still a good -10-15C outside
Besides, the laptops probably won't be outdoors too long. Mostly they're just there for customs and then flying again.

I'm jealous. Mine was supposed to be built on the 26th. No tracking number. Hasn't shipped yet. Maybe Monday since it seems like those of you with the 25th are getting yours shipped now.
