MadCowMark.... Try these links for the latest. the Coprocessor doesn't have an executable file, it is upgraded thru XP's device manager. To do this, open the device manager, find the Coprocessor from the list of devices that are conflicted (yellow question marks). Click on the Co-processor, and select update driver. Select install from a list or specific location (advanced), then browse to the location of the CD folder titled Coprocessor. The computer should do the rest.

everything is working fine except coprocessor driver. When i try to extract it ask me for the password. Can anyone help me with that please.

The links below are for the latest procedure to upgrade the TX series tablet to XP. This procedure converts XP (Home or Professional) into XP Tablet Edition, eliminating TouchKit and RitePen. Thanx again to Antihero and DrTigerLilly for helping me piece together all the info in this ISO.


This procedure is not a hack or a crack. It simply unlocks the features already built into XP and installs the tablet components. Therefore it is necessary to have a Genuine activated copy of XP. I would appreciate any feedback from anyone installing this on a series 2000 machine.

javedar148... I think the password is darkgiank.info.

If that doesn't work either one of the procedures I posted has the driver on them. They are in the form of ISO's.

Thanks for the procedure, however I noticed that it requires a fresh installation of XP, which at the moment I don't really feel like doing, since finally everything works fine and I can be productive again....I'll wait until something crashes to try the extension to Tablet Edition, then I'll post my comments.

Laars80... The fresh installation of XP just makes everything a little easier when trying to explain how to do it. You can do the tablet crossover at anytime as long as you have NET Framework 1.0 installed (SP3 doesn't include this). I have also read in this forum where people have used the same procedure to install both MCE and Tablet components on the same machine but I haven't tried it, I kind of like quick play.

Hi,

This is my first post!

I just would like to thank you all for all the information about how to downgrade. I have a TX1420ca. I doubled boot with Vista and I like it very much.

Ther is only one thing. I haven't found the Ethernet Network Controller. If you could please tell me where to get it, I would appreaciate a lot.

hi i have also converted my TX 1110 US to XP. im experiencing a few problems. first of all i only have 20 GB, is there anyway to recover the other 100? also, i did manage to install a custom driver for my video card, yet when i try to plug it to my monitor it says that the sync is not in range. if anybody can help that would be really great. thanks a lot.

The Drivers you guys are looking for are part of this ISO. As far as getting your 100 gig back, right click on my computer, select manage, and then disk management. Does the 100 gig show up as unpartitioned space? If so, norton's disc magic should be able to get it back for you.

thanks a lot, i did find the other hard drive. i didnt have to use the norton thing, windows just formatted it and now its up and good to go. thanks a lot. by the way none of these drivers for the nvidia geforce go 6150 work. the custom one did but then wen i turn my computer back on, the screen goes blank. any suggestions?
