Re: 2730 - is this a average performance?
It's just an example, the steeper the slope is, the more force you need.
That's right. The program will override standard Tip feel setting. Still, it's strange that you can't open other tablet settings. Can you be more specific about which not running? Also, make sure your pen tablet properties appears like this (part circled is Tip feel that I'm talking about)the prog doesent really install, when i click it, it straight opens up and i can set the pen the way i want, is this correct? also the programm seems to knock out the other setting programms. i cant open the other tablet settings anymore...

Re: 2730 - is this a average performance?
mmh, ok , ill try again, to which corner do i have to drag the line to make it sensitive. i mean both points, left one - left lower corner, right one - right lower corner?

Re: 2730 - is this a average performance?
Long story shorts, drag down the left point. Dragging down the right one is also fine as long as you keep the red line upward sloping.
Here I'll make it more clarified. Say each of the horizontal bar (opacity) and vertical bar (force) 's scale goes from 0 to 100 leftward and upward respectively. It's common sense that you need to press harder (force) to get darker or bigger stroke (opacity), that's why you need to keep the red line upward sloping. If you drag the right point to the bottom-right corner, it means that you barely need to press at all to get a very dark (or big) stroke, which is really a mess.

Re: 2730 - is this a average performance?
Dragging down the lower left corner reduces the amount of pressure needed to produce the faintest line. Dragging down the upper right corner reduces the amount of force required to produce the heaviest, darkest line possible. Dragging down both means you will be able to exert less pressure do both. It helps.

Re: 2730 - is this a average performance?
ok guys, after re installing it, it seems to work fine, i get a nice line by only barely touching the screen. ì dont have to save the changes ,do i ? i mean, i can apply the changes, and then end the programm, rhight ?also i can access the other tablet settings, so the performance is pretty good now, the only thing i could complain about is that the pointer sometimes seems to be a tiny little bit behind the penmovement, what do you think about that?
thanks for your input, i apreciate it.Last edited by robozo; 05-03-2012 at 01:51 PM.

Re: 2730 - is this a average performance?
I believe that you need to click Apply Changes before closing the program.
In regard to pen accuracy, you might try re-calibrating it or roll back to the old driver and follow this guide for absolute accuracy [Guide] How to calibrate x201t and x200t. However, I'm not sure if Tablet Curve tool works with the old driver. It's a pity that Wacom's ISD driver is utterly CRAPPY but I have to stick with it to get pressure sensitivity functioned in Photoshop.

Re: 2730 - is this a average performance?
interesting, what do you think about the wacom driver i installed, and code line i put in , do you think there are better ways to set up the HP ?
why are the wacom drivers crappy, are they meant to be?
calibration is not the problem, i can see the pointer well enough, actually the whole setup is pretty good...
still i could never illustrate a comicbook like this, to be honest, i illustrate everything with a pencil ,and then airbrush it with a cheap bamboo ... but hey, it works great so far...Last edited by robozo; 05-04-2012 at 08:21 AM.

Re: 2730 - is this a average performance?
I think it's the same for any tablet pc using wacom digitizer out there. Anyway, I might have been harsh about calibration since I was so frustrated about pointer being offset by some mm every time switching to portrait mode, otherwise it's great.
I also used bamboo before and didin't notice much of a difference when I got an intuos. Guess that's why we can live peacefully with our tablet pc thenstill i could never illustrate a comicbook like this, to be honest, i illustrate everything with a pencil ,and then airbrush it with a cheap bamboo ... but hey, it works great so far...
