Default Wacom PenTablet Driver ver 5019 is nerfed!

Anyone who visited the Wacom driver site recently will have noticed ver5019 is out. I installed it, and foolishly enough did not have a backup version of ver4976.

Turns out 5019 is still pretty much alpha, and did not have calibration functionality up yet. Anyone knows where I can find v4976 on the WWW? I asked Wacom, they sent me v4976 for the graphire series, which helps a little in pressure sensitivity but does not have pen options. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Did you try rolling back to a previous restore point.

heya.

Are you sure it doesn't have the calibrate functionality? I also installed 5.01-9(RC), released 13th of March, and the Calibrate functionality is on the second tab of the Wacom panel.

Cheers,
Victor

I too am having problems with this version. You can get into the Calibration interface, but tapping the pen on the cross-hairs does absolutely nothing. Then I am forced to cancel out.

Having the exact same problem, I d/l the Wacom drivers as suggested by P8RSON, but now my calibration won't work; for either the Fujitsu installed pen options or the Wacom ones... any suggestions?

Actually Jammin for this particular topic problem I have not recommended downloading the Wacom drivers.
All I have so far suggested was in trying to roll-back windows (restore option).

Under normal circumstances I thoroughly recommend downloading the Wacom Enhanced Drivers.
However, the problem we are seeing here is that it is the latest version 5019 that is at issue.

My recommendation is getting hold of a previous version and trying that.
I have PenTablet_495-6.exe which is a 2,515kb file
Anyone wishing it send me a PM with your email address and I'll upload to you.

I apologize P8RSON, it was regarding a different topic that you suggested the drivers to me. Instead of rolling back, could I instead uninstall the driver, then install what version you have?

(Sorry again for my brash statement, I didn't mean to offend)

No problems Jammin.

You could uninstall the driver and then install a new driver but if you simply wanted to use a previous driver then I would recommend you select the 'roll back' instead of uninstall.

I think it might be best if I just install the driver you mentioned, could you e-mail it to me?

As long as it works the same that is...
