Default Photodon does not work with T5010 multitouch

I just received my photodon screen protector from a friend in the US. At first, I was disappointed that they sent me the wrong size (it seemed like they sent a protector for a 14.1 screen). When I tried the sample film on my screen, I was even more disappointed. The multitouch barely registers (I have to press hard to get it to 'click'. Also, through the protector, you cannot drag items around.

The protector I got was a MXA one.

Can you calibrate multitouch to make it more sensitive?

Dragging and clicking worked fine for me on the MXT. Although you have to tap the screen for clicking quite decisively (with about a 5% chance of failed clicking on any given tap) whereas on the naked screen a light touch will do and it will always register.

I guess that level of performance is actually not so great either.

Well that's disappointing. I was hoping to get a Photodon for my T4410.

Does anyone know of a screen protector that will work with the multitouch?

hmm, I thought that the mxa and mxt ones were supposed to be the same thickness, strange.

Darn, I hope that using the pen on the naked screen won't scratch it up too badly. The touch is so useful for reading news articles and pdfs.

Does anybody use their T5010 without a screen protector?

I tried searching for this option but couldn't find it. And my computer knowledge is not good enough to go through the registries and such

Hmm, Photodon can't be happy about this news...the market is going towards multi-touch.

    What is up, missyscove ?

I am about to recieve my T4410 within 2 weeks
I ordered the screen protectors from Fujitsu although they stated that it is "for Active Digitizer only".

My mobile phone Samsung omnia HD "i8910" has a capacitive touch screen and works very well with its screen protector .. although the manual courages users to dispose it for better touch experience .. BUT, actualy I am so satisfied and will not do so.

I hope that I will get the same result with my new tablet and don't lose the multitouch option and that Fujitsu can solve that difficult equation : "Screen Protection without losing multitouch functionality".

I believe that Fujitsu can do it ... "The Possibilities are infinite" ... that is their slogan But I hope this will be soon (less than 2 weeks, anyway)

Kindly share us with your experience

I've been using my T4410 without a screen protector. I didn't get the screen warranty and I'm very nervous about hurting it, but I'm pretty careful, so fingers crossed.

I have an iphone with a screen protector and it works fine, so it really does seem like someone could come up with something.
