Some Questions about T4220
Hello
I have some questions about T4220 :
1. Does its pen have battery or it's powerless ?
2. Which of these tablets produce more heat : Fujitsu T4220 OR HP TX2 ?
3. What's in the box when I Buy T4220 ?
4. Could I upgrade its Ram myself OR it should be done by company ?
Thanks to help me as soon as possible
Regards
NEC

Re: Some Questions about T4220
1. pen does not use a battery. It has a coil and gets powered through induction. Behind the tablet display is a large coil which produces an EM field and powers the pen. Wacom EMR® (Electro-Magnetic Resonance) Technology
2. The HP TX2 will produce more heat, because it uses the less efficient AMD platform.
3. The tablet, power adapter, pen with replacement nibs, recovery discs, software (OneNote should be included), screen protectors. I hope I haven't forgot something.
4. You can upgrade the RAM yourself. It's easy, fast and cheap. You can see the RAM location in this guide: Disassembly of the Fujitsu LifeBook T4200 Series Tablet PC You just have to open two screws. That's all.

Re: Some Questions about T4220
Should I prefer 4220 over TX2 because of heat ?
I want to use my tablet PC always in Highest Performance
This causes the HP to be very hot . That will decrease its life or maybe it will be damaged .

Re: Some Questions about T4220
I don't know for what things you'll use your tablet, and I also don't understand why you'll use it in Highest Performance all the time.
But you are right, the HP will run hotter this way, but it won't be damaged this way. It's just maybe 5 degree hotter and thus a bit less comfortable to hold.
However, both tablets are completely different, so I'm not that sure if you're sure what tablet and configuration you really need.
