    Default EP121 - Quick Cover

I've been absolutely loving my EP121 since I received it about a month ago. However, I am trying to find a basic cover that I would be able to use to protect the front while going from place to place. This would serve as a partial replacement to the folio that the tablet came with but would be less weight/bulk.

Has anybody been able to find a simple cover that would fit this purpose? (I know of the user who attempted to 'kickstart' the production of his cover but from what I gather his project has ended.) I'm looking for something that is very similar to the iPad "smart" cover, of course without the "smart" functionality. Just want something that I can easily swing open and closed without the bulky folio case.

    Thanks!

I've been searching for those silicon cases for the ep121 but it seems nobody built it.

I'd really like one of those.

Well, I think I know what you mean but that's not what I'm search for.

Basically if you look at the iPad's smart cover, that's what I want. Except of course:

    1. It won't be "smart" but small magnets to keep it on would be nice.
    2. Has to be as big as the EP121.

Question is, has this ever been manufactured or do I need to take things into my own hands? Or... have people gone without using any sort of cover and haven't run into any problems with the screen?

I know you dont want the silicon one. I told you to tell you, in a way, that the market is not crowded with this kind of products (accesories) for our slate (sadly).

If you are just worried about the screen, then buy a screen protector. A lot of users (me included) bought one (SGP is better than Photodon IMO).

I figured that there is a lack of accessories as this is one of few sites I've found that have a consistent user-base.

Thanks for the suggestion, though. I'll look into the SGP in the meantime but hopefully someone has a lead for me.

Sadly, except for pre-cut skins (...I think...) and SPs, I have not seen any custom EP121 accessories...

I've been seriously considering making a cover out of oogoo but I still suck at spreading the stuff around. It's a mixture of corn starch and silicone. You can find it on instructables if you look. I know it sounds messy but it's actually pretty neat.
