Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
CF77; Great work as usual - Are there any noticable differences/releasenotes comparing it to the ones you got from Wacom before?

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
Thanks for posting CF77, it works great!
I have installed the new driver and I can confirm pressure sensitivity in Photoshop CS5 64&32bit, Illustrator CS5, Painter 11, Sketchbook Pro and Designer 2011, and ZBrush 4.
Muse- the difference is when compared to the stock Eee Slate drivers you cannot use the second button on a two button pen, nor can you customize what either button does. It also adds the pen pop-up menu ability. When comparing to the older Wacom drivers, the new one has support for both 64bit and 32bit applications, so any piece of software that works with pressure sensitivity should now work with the new driver. The older drivers had trouble with software support.
CF77's enhanced driver works the same way, (supports all pressure sensitive software), but was a patch, not an official Wacom release. Now that Wacom has released an official version, we should switch over to this new one.

Pressure sensitivity is working for me with this driver in both Gimp and Inkscape.

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
Awesome! From stock driver I set a restore point and just ran the setup to see if it would work and all the bells and whistles installed great. Button customization is added, pressure remains great, and I feel like the calibration utility is a little more predictable. Thanks for listening wacom! And thanks for finding those awesome rocker button pens o/p! It's the little things that make my day, and this made my day.

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
My experience so far is that (and I created a restore point too) installing over the stock driver worked flawlessly. I imagine the guys that had installed the previously patched driver wanted to uninstall/clean registry first so the new drivers installer wouldn't miss anything. The stock driver should be removed/updated by the new drivers installer. That said, some folks just prefer to uninstall things themselves rather than leave it up to the installer package. It worked fine for me to just run the new installer. Now I'm installing the latest graphic driver, wish me luck.
