Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
Drawing gets weird with all my software. 707-5 turns into zoom. 707-4 is fine, but only disabling eeti, otherwise it gets crazy with touch. I don't understand about computers and my English is limited. Im following this thread for long, but with no success.
I have an ep121 and there's a Samsung slate at work (not mine). Both running win cp with similar issues.
Maybe I should get back to win 7, when all of your drivers worked great.
PS: I have Ccleaner , but I'm not sure if its enough for a clean install.
I would like to know if anybody here have this same problems.Last edited by porongo; 04-04-2012 at 07:09 PM.

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
The state of thing with my Samsung 7 tablet
I am using win 8 cp
I have painter 12.1 (trail)
Installed the drivers and in the about i see ver 7.0.7-5
OneNote, est. works great
I do have now pen pressure sensitivity on painter 12.1 (trail version), but when I move the pen after I draw it does a maximum zoom- in as reported by some of you.
Does any have a solution for that?
I also do not understand a very basic thing – is Wacom working on that matter or only users keeping it going? Can we expect Wacom and MS to provide a full pressure sensitivity solution for software such as painter when win 8 is final? Did they did in in win 7
Thank you all for your time, this forum really helps me enjoy my tablet (and to improve my English, still a long way to go, I know…)

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
I asked Wacom about a Windows 8 driver, and they said due to the nature of Windows 8 not being a final product they wouldn't not distribute drivers. I tried to find out if there was progress on anything, but they didn't state. Judging from these drivers it looks like Wacom is doing some work with Windows 8 due to the presence of Windows 8 inf files. We might not really see anything until Windows 8 is about to RTM, which is a bummer for us wanting to test.

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
If you follow other forums, Samsung and Lenovo are the two companies have drivers supporting the Win8 CP as their products is freshly minted.
HP TM2 is a discontinued product, so it may or may not see Win 8 support. EP121 will eventually have Win 8, as B121 is just fresh out of the press.
Best motherboard company I have experienced is Biostar, they support their products over 10 years.ASUS EP121-001A05M 64/4 Win7x64SP1 bios->modded704-Oct version

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
so, which version of the ISD drivers works well with CS5? 707-5 isn't even usable with CS5 & win 8.

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
any chance you still have the 707-4 files and are willing to upload them to the web?

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
I'll second that request for 707-4 if you have it available. I'd love to get pressure sensitivity in photoshop working in Win 8

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
I don't know if I should be doing this, since CF77 removed the earlier versions of it. But as long as you are having problems with Win 8 CP on Asus EP121, 707-4 is the closest solution for me -I said "for me"-so far...
here's the link for 707-4 ONLY. You have to download 706-6 on post #294.
707-4_for_Win8CP_Pen_Pressure
I don't remember quite well, but I think I installed 707-4, then 706-6, then 707-4 again.
Important Notes: When you go drawing, go to devices and disable EETI (version 1.0.0.0 - If you updated, roll back. Updated driver wont wake again when you enable it back).
Your on screen keyboard will get small until you enable EETI again and restart your machine. Disabling EETI is important for drawing, otherwise, every time your hand touches the screen, pen will go bananas.
Keep in mind that Im a simple user of a Asus EP121, with a bad english and no knowledge about computers. I bought EP121 for drawing onlySo its on your own risks, ok?
And REMEMBER to follow CF77 previous instructions.Last edited by porongo; 04-12-2012 at 12:10 AM.
