Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
1)
rjmauer, for now check this out, i cannot help better becouse i also havnt got "wacom usb isd".
after you install ISD_DualTouch_702-18_web do "Z step" for whatever you get in device manager, i had "wacom pen". Simply instal driver by hand.
dunno why I cannot use windows calibration, i did it on the new panel "Pen Tablet Properties" and its OK for now. I will wait for some update from other users.
2)
"you will find the extra pen icon in control panel=> "Pen Tablet Properties". do you pen calibration if required. ***setup pen buttons as you wish.***"
CF77- when i install drivers from wacom website (that with BSOD bonus) i can see that it install also virtual hid and virtual pen? sth like that. After your instalation i havnt got extra hid devices, only wacom pen. Maybe this is the problem?
A half of us havnt get "Wacom USB ISD" Sth is wrong.
Please, paste screenshots from device manager before 1st(ISD_DualTouch_702-18_web) and 2nd(driver) correct installation.

i did it, now its perfect. check this out:
1}i did a full windows update- WITH additional\suggestet update of touch.
2} i used PrefUtil from ISD_DualTouch_702-18_web folder and delete all preferences.
3} i install and uninstall ISD_DualTouch_702-18. WHY? Becouse after windows update installation works different-i got lots of windows pop up becouse installing/unistalling procces was turing on some wacom .exe's. IMO it uninstall some old things and it helps/it install more.
Conclustion-> 2nd and 3rd point its a cleanup.
4}after restart and restoring default drivers {wacom pen}[uninstall old things and search for new devices] {you must have internet connection!!!} i install ISD_DualTouch_702-18. Now i get a virtuals devices, wacom mouse, usb device ect. Now i knew it will be fine.
5}restart pc
6}i install driver for...there was there was 2 similar names in hid section ...i didnt remember what i chose...that was some usb device? cos now i have on device maner 'usb isd' and 'hid pen'. So that other than 'hid pen'.
now i can calibrate correctly-> pen calibration bring that screen from driver so now its only 1 calibration for pen and one for touch. No misunderatanding, no schizofrenic. ;p
'When I go to calibrate now, I only get one point to calibrate with. I touch it with the pen, and no other point appears'
to fix it turn on 'right click' and log off from win. log on an you get 4 points.
ufff. onces again THXLast edited by kurt_hectic; 04-20-2011 at 06:50 AM.

How can we ensure that the USB Hub isn't set to sleep?
Thanks.

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
But which one do I check to not turn off when system is asleep? The USB Root Hub or the Generic USB Hub?
Thanks for the reply and the help.

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
What I did was uninstall any drivers and ANY folders under C:/drivers that had anything to do with wacom. Rebooted. It defaulted back to "Wacom Pen" I did not have the option from the original post.
Then I installed ISD_DualTouch_702-18. Reboot
I could not find the "USB ISD". So I simply left it. Checked my programs and there I had it pressure...I cannot begin to explain how it worked. Maybe pure luck, touch wood it doesn't fail again :'(

Re: Wacom Enhanced Driver Penable Device
I'd also like to note I did a full Windows Update, all recommended and crucial updates including SP1 before I did anything.
Don't forget RESTORE POINTS!
