    Default Handy toggle stuff for the Wacom popup menu

    If you running any of Wacom's penabled drivers (newest, Fujitsu, Wacom Asia, etc.) and have one of the Axiotron pens with a couple of buttons, you'll have noticed that those buttons are programmable via Wacom's control panel settings app. While I leave the first button on right-click, Wacom lets me set up a custom pop-up menu for the second button. Here are a couple of custom entries I've created:

    1. Touch Toggle
    - acquire TM2control.exe and copy it to the root of your C: drive.
    - create and save Touch.cmd to C:\ with the following content:
    Code:
    @echo off
    C:\TM2control.exe -9
    - add a "run" entry for C:\Touch.cmd to the Wacom custom menu

    2. ModLock Toggle
    - acquire ModLock.exe and copy it to the root of your C: drive.
    - create and save ToggleModLock.vbs to C:\ with the following content:
    Code:
    On Error Resume Next
    strComputer = "."
    strProgramName = "ModLock.exe"
    strProgramPath = "C:\ModLock.exe"
    Set objWMIService = GetObject("winmgmts:" _
        & "{impersonationLevel=impersonate}!\\" & strComputer & "\root\cimv2")
    Set objShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
    Set colProcessList = objWMIService.ExecQuery _
        ("Select * from Win32_Process Where Name = '" & strProgramName & "'")

    If colProcessList.Count > 0 Then
        For Each objProcess in colProcessList
            objProcess.Terminate()
        Next
    Else
        objShell.Run strProgramPath
    End If
    - create and save ModLock.cmd to C:\ with the following content:
    Code:
    @echo off
    wscript C:\ToggleModLock.vbs
    - add a "run" entry for C:\ModLock.cmd to the Wacom custom menu

    By way of brief explanation:
    This is for somewhat advanced users. Use Google and forum search to find TM2control.exe and ModLock.exe; both are freeware applets for the tablet pc. The first lets you turn touch on/off if it is interfering with inking. The second gives you quick access to CTRL, ALT and SHIFT keys for Photoshop, etc. (and I use a little script to prevent multiple copies of ModLock from running at the same time.)

    Sweet. Will definetly do the TouchControl toggle thingie for my Axiotron.

    Will have to see about the modbook one, as I do not use Photoshop. However, I am going to immerse myself in Sketchbook, Artrage, SAI Paint, and Corel software. Guess they use those Ctrl, Shift, Alt commands for drawing...hmmmm.

    Intriguing. Many thanks for the hot tip!!!

    I have a Promini BT KB/TP. It's the same as the Rii. It's very small and I'm looking forward to trying it while using the stock Wacom pen.

    Trying to get the TM2 Control to work. most of the buttons works such as volume, touch... but I get errors on the blue tooth button (error says unable to find bluetooth device), the switch GPU button (error says problem while loading switch graphic utility), and the wifi button acts like it is doing something but will not turn off.

    Any ideas?
