My dell has not shipped and the delivery data has not been moved ahead. I ordered by business dell rep, not through the web. He was on vacation when I called on Friday.

It was pushed from 1/4 to 1/10 originally--I was given a phone call, and asked whether or not I wanted to cancel the order.
I told them I wanted the device.
The next day, I checked my account online, and it said 1/11.

The Dell Rep mentioned they are getting a lot of the tablets shipped the next 2 weeks. Take it with a grain of salt. You never know what can happen.

Dell customer service called me on 12/23 and told me it would ship 12/26. Obviously a lie. Then they called me again on 12/29 and told me it would ship 1/1. Also obviously a lie. When I called customer service I was told that the problem is that I ordered a Latitude as a consumer, and Latitude is their business line, so that was causing the problem. I wouldn't believe a damn thing anyone from Dell tells you.

dpends, since you have a 1/8 delivery (the rest of us have been pushed later than that), it will be interesting to see what happens between now and Tuesday.
