XT3 N-trig DuoSense Stylus Replacement
I would like to get a replacement pen for the Dell XT3. It has the N-trig duosense digitizer and I think a capacitive touch screen. I can't find an exact replacement. Dell doesn't sell it, nor does ebay. What are my options? Will only N-trig duosense stylus' work? Or will they just work the best?
Cheap official dell replacement:
Apparently it's Part# P91F8 On ebay I searched for P91F8 and found $20 oem replacements.
Anyone interested can find more info here: Re: XT3 Stylus - Laptop General Hardware Forum - Laptop - Dell CommunityLast edited by MatthewSullivanMath; 06-27-2012 at 06:00 PM.

Matthew: The XT3 apparently uses the same N-trig Digital Pencil technology as other recent tablets that use N-trig DuoSense digitizers. Although the pen looks slightly different (because of an "extended" battery cap), the internal electronics are the same as the DPs for the HP Slate 500 and Slate 2, the Fujitsu T580 and Q550,HTC Flyer and the Motion Computing CL900 (among others). I believe that the Fujitsu DP is available through the Fujitsu site and, when I last looked, cost about $25. If you have not lost your XT3 pen, you should be able to transplant its battery cap to your DP and it should then fit (approximately) in your XT3's pen garage...
For the Fujitsu DP, see:

The HTC Flyer pen, also available separately, is also recommended and has a second button that can provide erase functionality:

Thanks! I got the HTC Scribe and it works great. However it was expensive ($51), is too small for the XT3's stylus holder and doesn't include replacement nibs.

Re: XT3 N-trig DuoSense Stylus Replacement
Does anyone know how to program the buttons on the stylus? My eraser button works fine but I don't have the other button doing anything right now.
EDIT You can hold the other button and then tap the screen to right click.Last edited by MatthewSullivanMath; 05-08-2012 at 12:02 PM.
