    Here is a size comparison of recent slates to the new Latitude ST.

    - HP 500/ Slate II is the black line
    - Latitude ST is gray
    - Fujitsu Q550 is green
    - Samsung 7 Slate is gold
    - Asus EP121 is red

    It looks like the Latitude ST is slightly smaller and thinner than the Q550. Amazing since it has a pen silo.
    regards,

    Nice comparison. I am looking forward to the Latitude ST. I think that its size is going to be perfect. HP Slate is too small and the Asus EP121 is too big.

    Nice chart!

    The size difference between the ST and Q550 is marginal. Between the two, I'd pick the former due to the presence of a pen silo. But in my opinion, the Slate 2/500 still have the best size. Too bad the new CPU is so slow. Buying an old Slate 500 off eBay, then overclocking it, is probably the most sensible thing to do for someone into small slates.

    I wonder if there's a business model in that. Overlooked Slate 500s for $1,000!

    I'd like to see a Windows tablet with a rear lip around the edge, grippy plastic, so I know that when I carry the thing I have a good grip. The Samsung feels like it's going to fly off at any moment but that's been more or less the same with all tabs (The TM2 had the battery hump which was perfect)

    Thanks for the comparison above... Any chance of adding the Acer W500?

    No problem! Here it is with the W500 in blue. It is almost identical to the Q550 in size and thickness except it is a little narrower. Notice how it almost blocks out all the green.

    I had not originally included it because it does not have pen input.

    Hold on, there..... I just noticed something fishy here. This is another of excalibur's classic "tweaks" threads, but this time he started it a whole 11 days before he even received the darn thing! I call shenanigans! Hold on strong, mate. It will arrive soon. Hey, I'm counting on you for the ST's WPrime score.

    @dceggeet:

    By the way, are you running the original/stock version of Windows on your Fuji T580? If so, would you be kind enough to run WPrime on it and submit your score to the WPrime Benchmark thread?

    Bug your Dell rep to get the Bluetooth Keyboard case combo. It currently isn't available, but was on their initial customer information packet given to us. Little bummed that it isn't available.
