Default What firewire chipset is on the XT3

I know the XT and XT2 used texas instruments firewire chipsets, but these tablets just didn't cut it for me on horsepower.

    What does the XT3 use?

    Bump.

I'm about to upgrade my XT for an XT3, but only if it has a Texas Instruments firewire chipset, can anyone inform me with this?

    Thanks

Not many people here own the XT3.

Not really sure of the manufacture. Windows is using generic drivers for it.

Why is it important to get that specific firewire chip?

In my (and many others) experience, texas instruments is the only chipset that supports a broad range of audio interfaces, compared to via, jmicron, ricoh etc.
    And performs stable as well.
