Necessary addtional drivers for windows 7
I have had some driver issues since my upgrade to windows 7--many akin to the issues I have when I first bought my XT. To my knowledge, thus far I have had problems with the "tablet buttons" on the screen not working (the ones with a little key, the screen rotation and the mail icon) as well as not being able to use the touchpad's scroll feature (I can't scroll up and down pages by just moving up and down the right side of the touchpad.)
I've tried the whole windows update thing and though they provide a solution that is supposed to fix the tablet button issue, my buttons are still not functioning. Any similar problems or solutions?
As well, what drivers have others found it necessary/helpful to install after the "upgrade" to windows 7?

Re: Necessary addtional drivers for windows 7
Its because you haven't installed Quickset.
I installed the USB-serial driver listed under chipset just because it seems to affect the digitizer, the Vista multitouch drivers (and not the Windows 7 beta which doesn't support pen input), ATI's newest Win7 beta (found here: http://support.ati.com/ics/support/d...estionID=39069)- the video driver needed to be modded with MobilityModder.net to work on the XT, and also UPEK's newest Windows 7 fingerprint driver (www.upek.com/win7) and the Dell Quickset application.
Basically for drivers, just look in device manager, see what has the yellow exclamation point, and install those.
