Default How good is this tablet?

Hello all,

I am currently in search of a good tablet, that will be good for all of my needs. \

Student: I am a college student who needs a tablet that will be able to last long, and will be good for note taking.

Gaming: I am a gamer and I am wondering how well this tablet can handle games like Warcraft 3, and other Blizzard games, no WoW though.

Speed: I noticed that the processor speed is not the greatest, so how fast will this laptop be able to load application, and stuff like that?

Why pick this: I was just wondering why this is better then any others? The screen is small, and the price is high, so why is it soo good? My parents want it, because Dell has onsite, that is all. Hopefully this is a good computer though.

Would anyone recommend this over the Asus R1E-B1?

The Asus R1E and the Dell Latitude XT are not the same class of machine. The Asus uses a full processor and as such is a more powerful machine. The Dell Latitude XT is a business class machine, its ultra low voltage processor translates into better battery life and less heat output, but it means it will not be good for processor intensive tasks like 3d gaming (even though this is more gpu related), video editing, autocad etc.

The Dell will be slower to start up, but once you're in the OS, doing ordinary things like playing music, browsing the web, IM-ing, watching video etc, there will be no noticeable difference.
