The sound quality on the R1F is so bad that I can't hear what people are saying properly even when I'm playing a DVD. If I connect to external speakers, it makes it sound like it's playing from outer space.

I do not have high expectations, and I am not picky with stereo systems, but I just wish it would work properly.

Has anyone had the same problem? Any remedies?
