R1E Variants. Processor types

Hi all,
About 2 months ago i wanted to buy an R1F Tablet, but after some time spent on this forum and the fact, that i is based on old chipset and processor, i decided to wait for R1E - for 965 chipset and T7000 processor. And finally it is somewhere there! But...
But in shops, that are available for me, i can found only the one model - R1E-T555SCEGAW with HDD250GB, RAM2GB and T5500!! processor. But on official ASUS site only T7000 processors in specification are written. And is it possible to have old one processor on the new chipset? And is it possible that ASUS have made some version of their brand new tablet with such old processor?\
Could you please give your ideas? And could you write your model numbers (like R1E-B1, R1E-T555SCEGAW, ...) and their short spec?

I was in the same position as you are and I just purchased my R1E from Dubai 2 days back (since the R1e isn't available in the Uk). The model number is R1e-3P020C.
Specs:
core2duo T7500@2.2GHz
1GB RAM (upgraded to 3GB)
160 GB Hdd
Intel GM965 (x3100) Graphics
Vista Home Premium

I doubt think the R1E will come with a T5500 CPU, it wont be based on the Santa Rosa Platform then. Do confirm with the distributor if possible.
