eee note PDF viewing latest firmware

Hello, I'm seeking clarification on the PDF viewer.

In particular, I refer to a previous review from Jesse B Andersen:

In his blog, this user says that the ebook located at: Download details: Microsoft Press ebook: Programming Windows Phone 7
requires scrolling to read. However I imagine this is using an older firmware.

Could anyone please tell me:

A) Does the new firmware support landscape PDF viewing (I believe it does)
B) What is the above book like to read with landscape orientation? Is anybody able to try it out? I don't mind vertical scrolling, but I hate horizontal scrolling when reading.
C) I saw reference to a need for the eee to save the zoom level (and/or x y location?) between pages, has this been implemented in the latest firmware?
