Mass Charging of Acer W500
Hi all,
Sorry if this should be somewhere else on here but i'm new to forums.
My question is this " is there a anything out there that can charge several Acer W500 tablets at the same time, using only one plug socket?" I'm basically lookign to charge about 10 units at any given time and i have had no luck in finding anything.
If anyone has any suggestion they would be greatly received.
Thanks
Rob

Re: Mass Charging of Acer W500
You're not likely to find a product designed for that purpose. There would not be a large enough market for a company to develop a product like that.
The W500 power supply puts out 19 volts at 2.15 amps. In theory if you have a 19 volt power supply that puts out 21.5 amps you could attach 10 plugs to charge 10 W500's at once.
Since 19 volts is not that common in high amperage power supplies, this would be something very custom and very expensive. A couple of power strips with the stock power supplies makes a lot more sense.Tablets: Acer W500, iPad 2, HP Compaq 2710p
Previous Tablets: Fujitsu T3010D & U810, Samsung Q1 Ultra
Laptop: Toshiba Z935
