Re: W500 Gaming??
For MtG players, Magic, Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 via Steam works great. Except for the opening cinematic which stutters --doesn't mean much since the same intro stutters occasionally on my Alienware M15x (!)
The only thing is learning to do small horizontal swipes to press buttons/make selections, etc. Even the multi-touch zoom gesture to view cards, etc. works as you'd expect.
Highly recommended for anybody who was ever curious about Magic but didn't want to spend $$ on cards. First played it on Xbox-live and got hooked, but it's so much more convenient on a tablet form-factor. (Warning, it's highly addictive.)
The previous Duels of the Planeswalkers, works as well. But doesn't seem to take advantage of the GPU, so when you get a ton of cards on the board, it gets very choppy. 2012 works without a hitch though. There's no real storyline so just skip 2010 and go with 2012.

Re: W500 Gaming??
Considering I recall having played it with only mouse clicks and no keyboard interaction, I wonder how well Spore would run on this tablet. I'll try it one of these days.

Re: W500 Gaming??
I can confirm that Civ4 and Plants vs Zombies works great. Tried MTG as well, and the horizontal swipe is annoying but works.
Anybody have any others? Since Steam is having their holiday sale, it's a great time to load up on games.

Re: W500 Gaming??
Are old school mouse-only games enjoyable on this? RPGs like Diablo, Nox and strategy games like AoE III (wonder if this runs perfecty).

Re: W500 Gaming??
Does anyone know if the w500 will meet these requirements?
•Hyperthreaded Intel CPU, AMD Athlon 64 CPU, or any dual-core CPU
•128MB Pixel Shader 2.0 (ATI 9700Pro or nVidia 6600 or better); 256 MB Pixel Shader 3.0 (ATI X1600 or nVidia 6800 GT/GS or better) graphics adapter recommended
I'm looking at possibly using the W500 as a monitor attached to a wheel stand if possible.
Thanks for any input.
