How to Enter into ICONIA W500's BIOS settings?

guys know how to enter BIOS settings?

i also want to re-install the system to WIN7 HOME PREMIUM Chinese language to get CHN handwritting support....thanks.

Yes I love it.
Power on the device by pressing the Power button and the Windows button at the same time. That will display the BIOS boot.

I have tried many times to enter the bios using this method listed but keep getting missing bootmgr what could be wrong?? I see the cursor and i hit f2 but it never enters the bios just displays the message.

It worked for me on Windows 7 but now that I'm on Window 8 it wont work anymore!

It took me awhile to figured it out.... If you have the Windows 8 Developer Preview installed, you will not be able to boot up the bios screen the normal way, as Win 8 has a fast-startup option that overrides it. Talking to Acer support is completely useless and I finally found that you have to fake a windows crush to get back to that state.

To do that, just load up windows, and hold the power button until it's off. Then hold the windows button and power button again and you will see the cursor on the upper left corner. Hit F2 as soon as you see that and you should be able to boot to BIOS. Set your boot up device and you should be able to load the Windows 8 Consumer Preview from your USB drive on the keyboard.

Disable the Hybrid boot in windows 8.

in power options, "Choose what the Power buttons do", then click "Change settings that are currently unavailable", then scroll down to to the shutdown setting and disable fast startup.
I just did this on W500 with Win 8 CP
